Joy Group

The JOY Group is a group of folks who like to get together to do things with one another, and since they don't really consider themselves to be over the hill, or even on top of the hill, and, because most of them are just a bit too old to call themselves "Youth" any longer (one of the members of this group is Pastor Newman, and though he doesn't want anyone to know it, he is over 60 now), we have simply decided to call ourselves Just Older Youth, or the JOY Group for short.

We try to do something each month. Sometimes we go out to dinner or a play or a movie or bowling. Sometimes we just get together for a meal at someone's house. Sometimes we have a party, like on New Year's Eve when we always have a party! But basically we just like to get together to enjoy the fellowship and friendship we have with one another because we are fellow members of God's family through Christ and joint heirs of heaven.

We have  no restrictions on membership. Anyone can join. Anyone can come. Wontcha join us for our next event? Watch for it on the Calendar!
